Is it possible to lease a used car with exisitng modifications? (i.e. turbo, wheels, etc.)

If so, will the vehicle have to be returned to a stock condition at lease end?

It really depends on the modifications. If you purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease then there is no problem.

Major mods to the engine and body are usually not recommended.

I understand that you can lease a vehicle and then add your own modifications.

I suppose the real question is, Will a pre lease inspector note exisitng modifications on a used vehicle I would like to lease?

Will the lease company take the car back with those modifications still intact?

Yes, the pre-inspector should make notes of any mods. At that time the lender will determine whether to reject or accept the vehicle as is.

If they accept it at lease inception then they should accept it at lease termination.

It's a case by case basis.
