You had made a clarification regarding MSRP and MSRP with options and Dealer options and asked for a suggestion to make it more clear.

I would suggest maybe a page with a series of sample stickers (.jpgs) from various makes and models of cars. Like scans of actual stickers with MSRP, Options & ect. with the MSRP your lenders refer to circled in red or the portion of the sticker you want for residuals...it could be a link in a response to users having this question or/and a link on the faq page/help page. If the consumer could see exactly what your lenders use for residual pricing on MSRP using an actual sticker would eliminate some guess work on our side quoting inaccurate numbers because we thought the XYZ-1 option was part of the MSRP when infact it was not...thus skewing the estimated payment vs the actual.
