    I made a bad mistake

I signed a lease agreement today. (01/17/05) The lease is in me and my wifes name. My wife was not there for the entire process. They said they could work around that so I gave them my wifes information. I traded in a car that had a balance of 8,700. The car is in me and my wifes name. My wife is set up as the primary owner on this lease. I took possesion of the vehicle. They told me to bring in my wife to sign all of her part of the paperwork. Upon telling my wife about the lease deal she was very unhappy
and is refusing to sign anything because she was not present. I informed the dealership immediatly and they said to bad. The dealership says they cant go back on the deal. I signed all my part of the paperwork. The dealer says they can still inforce the lease off my signature only although I am the secondary owner. The dealer says if my wife does not sign the papers for the trade in that I have to honor the lease and I also continue paying off the trade in. I don't know what advice you can give me but I am in a jam.
Oh yeah talking my wife in to signing the agreement is out of the question.

if the deal was dependent on your wife having to sign the lease agreement and she refuses to sign then there is no deal and the dealer cannot enforce the lease.
