how to transport a swapped-lease car

I have an interested party on leasetrade.com who may want to take over my lease. Neither one of us know who to contact to transport the vehicle from one area of the country to another and the cost. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey roorig, good luck on securing the deal on your lease. There are a variety of companies that can move your vehicle securely, and in a timely manner.
I reperesent one of those companies. Ready Auto Transport offers a nationwide vehicle transport service, door to door, we are insured, and bonded. We tap into a network of the top independent transporters in the country to ge you the best price without sacrificing a quality service.
We would only need to know the make and model of the vehicle, and the pickup and drop off cities to give you a price.
We are happy to give you references for work we have done.
Please call us toll free 877-558-3805 or if you prefer, email me personally at mark@ratmoves.com
    Thanks

Re: how to transport a swapped-lease car

    I have used
http://www.mcnutttransport.com/home/ several times with good results and decent prices. AFAIK they only do non-enclosed hauls and they work with "gypsy" type haulers who roam the country picking up and delivering cars (and trailers, boats, etc).

If you use a service that sets a firm date and has to send a truck to you and direct to your buyer it will cost you a LOT more money. With McNutt they will get someone to get it "in a few days" and get it delivered "in a few days" but you save a lot of money.

The only other way I have found to save is to use a company that has a dock/terminal near you and the other end - then rather than have them come and pick up the car you drive to the terminal and drop it off - the buyer has to do the same at the other end.

They all charge by the mile from you to the other end, but the longer it goes usually the less per mile.
