Hi, I recently visited my dealer and received a manufacturer lease quote for 2008 Tiptronic Carrera S Coupe.
I'm located in Southern California.
52.9% Residual Money Factor .0028 (Top Tier Rate)
My question is if the Money Factor on this particular rate is adjusted in any way by the dealership (dealer claims it is not) or is a regional variation? I am thinking the manufacturer rate is .0026 for September.
I have compared the dealer's rate to rates on leasecompare.com, and find the Residual Value much less (40%), but the Money Factor highly variable from .00239 to .00408.
Just trying to get an idea of what kind of deal I'm getting.
Thanks!

It's usually best to go with the lowest money factor. If the residual value is artificially inflated, your payment will be lower but you will limit your options at the end of the lease due to the over-valued buyout VS the true market value.
LeaseCompare.com rates vary by region and available lease sources.
